Helmi Salem

(Egypt, 1951)
The difficulties of being romantic
Have your eyes neither principle nor end
It’s a defect the perfection of your eyes, and its defect is perfection
Fire is by the side of shoulder:
would have your sorrows a door would I have
begin, would they have Chart’s indicators would I have conclude.
How can occur that Egyptian poets don’t know to talk about labyrinths?
